Yes it is but in short weddings are awesome and need awesome photography to do them justice! It is one of the biggest days of your life that you are sharing with a unique bunch of really important people that will probably never get together again. The day, the people and the moments captured are priceless memories that you can cherish and enjoy forever. For that reason your wedding photography should be viewed as a lifelong investment. Good wedding photography doesn’t come cheap but for good reason and of all the things to consider for your wedding day cutting corners on photography shouldn’t be one of them!

From start to finish your day and all the special people within it will be thoroughly documented and preserved forever using my natural, creative documentary approach. All the little moments of love, happiness, tears, laughter and fun will tell your story through a creative set of pictures that you will love for a lifetime. Again I like to keep things really simple here with the main focus being on you guys relaxing and enjoying your day with no worries! All you need to do is leave me to roam free and do my thing!

The other side to my work is the atmospheric couple portraits that you will see here in the galleries. This is something I LOVE to do and is where I get to let my creativity run wild. These images usually have a cinematic feel to them, sometimes using epic landscapes or urban environments to create atmospheric moments of the two of you in love on your wedding day.

WE ALL SAY THIS SO DON’T WORRY! Most of the day will be captured using a natural documentary approach to capture real moments and personalities. Using an ancient form of ninja stealth and sneakiness I get right amongst the action without detection to capture moments of pure joy, fun and laughter which you can re-live forever. By the end of the day you will be having a blast and have new found confidence in the art of having your picture taken without knowing you’ve had your picture taken!

For the portraits of the two of you alone I like to let my beard down and get creative shots that look like stills from a cool movie. The images on my site are all of REAL people on their wedding day. These are often people who were camera shy or hated having their picture taken but with the right approach, a load of fun and laughs we turn all that around and always end up creating epic shots. We go walkabout for a few minutes to allow you some time alone, to breathe in the atmosphere and enjoy the moment of being newly married. We have a laugh and whilst giving you some light direction I get shots of you looking cool as a cool thing in your finest attire! Happy days :O)

People come from all over the world to be with you on your day so documenting that unique bunch of people is really important to me as it’s unlikely that they will ever be together again! Usually we start with a big informal group shot of everyone and then swiftly rattle off whatever smaller groups you would like. These are all done very quickly (around 20 mins) and informally (no cheese) so it doesn't interrupt the flow of the day and people can get back to the party :O)
