The stunning Broadoaks Country House Hotel is nestled into the hills overlooking Lake Windermere in the beautiful Lake District. This place is full of character and is one of my favourite locations of all the Lake District wedding venues. With an opulent feel to the interior and a classical Cumbrian garden to wander in on your wedding day this is a pretty special place to get married! Rebecca and Gary had both the wedding ceremony and reception at the venue and celebrated with all their family and friends without having to travel anywhere else. Top tip - This is always a great way to plan your wedding day as you and your guests can just chill, have a drink and enjoy the day without racing around trying to find out where to go and park! As Rebecca has always had an obsession for the film ‘Dirty Dancing’ no surprises then that this was the theme for the day! Even the cake was Dirty Dancing inspired and Gary had to learn the song to perform a surprise singalong on the day! Awesome fun with a great couple all added up to a fantastic day!
